New Year celebrations portray a perfect example of assembling people of all nations to experience the same festive feel, which naturally comes along with the coming of New Year. Varied party spots seem to be full of distinct colors of celebrations. And all such festivities comprise everything that marks New Year Eve with a variety of festive colors. Also, such celebrations become the main reason that makes people go bonkers. And this reason has been constantly giving vent to the party spirit of the people. Being compelled by the inherent party enthusiasm, everyone turn on their heels to reach their favorite party venues, which appear to provide fun and frolic in leaps and bounds. And no other party can ever beat the charm of a New Year party. Everyone gets the chance to turn on the party gear only once in a year and therefore, such special eve celebrations comprise to form something that people can’t even think of missing out.

On New Year Eve, everyone becomes super active and the preparations to pose themselves in their own imagined way in New Year party begin way before the evening hours. The very morning of 31st December sends excitement into the veins of everyone, which charges them to get their acts together in order to approach party spots way before any one else does so. Myriad of news and entertainment programs on television ring the music of festivities in the ears of all their viewers and spectators. Varied broadcast media showcases all the people throughout the world busy in groove of the festivities that naturally accompanies a fresh year. And while witnessing the entire hoopla on a large number of channels, every individual seems to experience the sheer freshness in the early morning, which is followed by the glee of the impending eve.

Following the morning music of radio and television channels, the rhythm of the New Year joins everyone in the proceeding New Year party. And to maintain the musical atmosphere, people don’t even mind hunting for things that they have never ever used in any of their previous parties. They arrange for colossal woofers that buzz the entire party atmosphere and compel people to wear their dancing shoes. And once people decide to start their rocking New Year dance or to bask in the actual thrill of multifarious activities, the passing of time becomes something where nobody’s attention goes and the entire eve is danced away with amazing furor. And being in the full mood of this furor, all the party buffs happily greet all the things that come their way with New Year. Adding to the list of such things are the joyous times and cheering together-times with friends and loved ones.

Moreover, everything that one experiences on New Year Eve forms to be a prominent part of memorable moments and such moments of New Year celebrations ensure us happier future. All our expectations of reaching new heights and to have never-ending contentment are fulfilled with the promise that the festivities of New Year seem to be filled with.

Celebrities can not help the fact they that are so popular. We see them all over television on network television and cable and satellite channels. It is us after all, the adoring fans that create them and make them popular in the first place. If we did not care about what was going on in their lives, they would not become so famous. It might seem to most of us average unknown people that celebrities seem to be really full of themselves, and some defiantly are, but not all of them.

If we keep up to date with the news, not the celebrity stuff, but important world event news, we should realize that there are celebrities that have made room for more things in their lives besides themselves.

So many of the celebrity entertainment programs that we watch, whether they come on network television or on cable or satellite channels, often do a lot more reporting on the latest scandals that the most currently hot celebrities are immersed in. Many of us can not resist interest in who has done what and to whom. It is human nature to want to listen to gossip, especially if it is true.

Something more important about human nature is hopefully a common desire to help others and in some way make a substantial contribution to the society we live in. Sometimes the stir that some celebrities cause by what project they are working on or what trouble some have gotten themselves into, can overshadow the tremendous humanitarian works that many other famous ones are involved in.

The musician known as Bono, who has been the lead singer and lyricist of the famous group, U2 has become known world wide not only for his music, but also for his humanitarian efforts in Africa. He has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and was given the status of honorary knighthood in the United Kingdom.

Other celebrities following his lead, especially concerning Africa, are Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and George Clooney. They are using their status to promote attention to the deplorable conditions of the people in Darfur in Sudan, Africa. Pitt and Jolie have adopted one orphan child from Cambodia and one from Ethiopia. Oprah Winfrey has recently started an all girl school for underprivileged girls in South Africa.

It would not be fair to leave out a lesser known actor and comedian that constantly encourages a greener and better world. Ed Begley Jr. has played characters in several television shows and has become an outspoken activist for all things green or things good for our planet. He promotes all kinds of environmentally friendly products and currently has a show on HGTV called Living with Ed.

So the next time you think some celebrities are just more pretty faces, look a little closer and you might see something a little more substantial.
